![]() I'm astonished by the lack of support for my Mac software running Big Sur, which makes it difficult to use my webcam with a plug-and-play setup. I'd like to find a solution that allows me to simply plug in my currently unused webcam and start recording my screen at full size. It seems counterintuitive that Big Sur would make it so challenging to connect and utilize my webcam, especially since it's supposed to be a straightforward process. However, after purchasing a new mouse, I realized that the issue persisted. More than a year ago, I posted about this problem, but unfortunately, I didn't receive any responses. Later, a Logitech technical expert replied, but I never received an answer after months of waiting. When I downloaded the Logitech 'Logi Capture' software to address my issues, it failed to recognize my camera despite being plugged into either a peripheral or directly into the back of my 2018 Mac Mini. After experimenting with Facetime and Photobooth, I occasionally managed to get one of them working partially. However, my Logitech C920 webcam remains nearly impossible to activate after the Big Sur update.
