Physics Department I am pleased to introduce myself as a professor at Weber State University's Schroeder Department of Physics and Astronomy. I have a strong educational background in physics, which has equipped me with the necessary skills to teach and conduct research. My academic credentials include: Physics 3540: Mechanical and Electromagnetic Waves Physics 2710: Introductory Modern Physics Physics 2220: Physics for Scientists and Engineers II Physics 2210: Physics for Scientists and Engineers I Honors 1500: Perspectives in the Physical Sciences, "Deep Space and DeepTime" Honors 1500: Perspectives in the Physical Sciences, "Energy, Entropy, and Everything" Physics 1040: Introduction to Astronomy I earned my undergraduate degree from Carleton College between 1980-84. Subsequently, I pursued a graduate program at Stanford University's Linear Accelerator Center from 1984-90. Prior to joining Weber State in 1993, I taught physics at Pomona College for one year and Grinnell College for two years. I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and grew up in the suburb of Webster Groves. Please note that my phone is checked infrequently.
